Jan, I just want to give you a heads up ... the perches on the playgym I got are not bolted down. Instead they just fit into slots on each end. As you might guess, Calypso now has a new game as he lifts the perch out of the slot and watches it crash down while the dogs high tail it out of the room scared to death!  Undecided  Macaws...gotta love 'em!  haha

Oh no!!! Sounds like exactly what Kuka would do too.  I am still pondering over if to get it or not.  Here is the other thing... I have a brand new in the box play stand pretty similar to that one and I have photos of Kuka on it, I will have to dig for it and post for you to see but all she does is sit on the upper ring of it and even one this one you have, I know she'd do the same so I am not sure what is the point in getting it for her and the play stand she is on now she sits up on the ring.  These rings as you know are much smaller in diameter that they are perching on.  Does Calypso sit up at the very top mostly?

On his old playstand, he spent the majority of time up on top of the toy hook. On this new playgym, he tend to play where the dishes are as right underneath them are two toy hooks and he plays with those toys. I've seen him up high, but the majority of the time he is lower.

The playstand looks awesome Anna! Have you hung up some of his favorite toys on it? I'd like to see it all "tricked" out!

offtopic  How is the aviator harness working out? I have been thinking of getting one for LunaToo.  haha

Dani, I've hung a swing on the top area that he uses as a toy  Roll Eyes ... the bottom area has a wooden toy and lots of large plastic chain mixed with mini-sized plastic chain--which he loves to chew up and spit everywhere.

As for the Aviator Harness ... my training with him is sort of on hold. I'll pick it up again late winter, early spring. The directions say that once the harness is put on them, you should immediately take them out of doors for some fun. And, it's been unseasonably frigid here ... no warm weather until spring, I'm predicting. His primaries are beginning to come back in and he has two tail feathers coming in. Those will come in handy when he wants to fly!  haha I think you should try it with Luna, it would be a blast for you two!
